A MIDDLEWARE FOR PROXIMITY COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MOBILE PHONES AND IP BASED DEVICES

The Cumbari DPS Technology is a new innovative technology enabling contact-less proximity communication in brick-andmortar establishments for all mobiles. It can connect any mobile phone to any IP-based device in proximity mode and make them communicate.

The technology used could be NFC, sound or any other suitable technology depending on what is at hand in each specific situation. For example, if a phone with support NFC sets up an contact-less payment transaction with a device (e.g. other phone, a cach register etc) that lacks NFC support, the payment transaction could be initiated using sound instead of NFC, as way to transfer information between the two devises.

The Phone2Phone solution enables smartphones to communicate with a service through another smartphone thanks to Cumbari Phone2Phones solution software.
